The 2026 Florida Scrub-Jay Festival will be hosted at Oscar Scherer State Park on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10am to 3pm. More information will be shared as we get closer to the event!

‘The Florida Scrub-Jay will fascinate you with its tale of fire, hidden acorns and island history,’ begins Archbold’s 20 minute film featuring the federally Threatened Florida Scrub-Jay. Archbold’s Education Coordinator Dustin Angell brings viewers into the Florida Scrub-Jay’s curious world.
